Introducing ACNE-LTD III

The Research team at Acne-Ltd were the pioneers in research studies of skin diseases that can and often do co-exist with acne. These co-existing skin conditions often lead initially to mis-diagnosis or delay appropriate treatment of acne. This delay in the treatment of acne can result in increased mental suffering or embarrassment for the acne sufferer patient. Treatments such as Retinoids, accutane, steroids, laser therapy, and antibiotics have not worked very well and often aggravate, redden or thinned the skin which can cause further sensitivity as most acne products are too aggressive and too often over used and abused. Our objective with Acne-Ltd III is to simply do the opposite of most acne treatments by leaving the sensitive acne skin intact on the face. Most acne sufferers have been frustrated for years and spent much money in their search for the best acne treatment. Controlling acne is easier and more effective the earlier treatment is begun.

Years of innovative research has lead to the development of new effective Acne-Ltd III whose specialty is leaving the skin intact with a soothing invisible application without side effects of any type. Acne-Ltd III can be applied to skin that is sensitive due to acne, seborrheic dermatitis, and rosacea.

Acne-Ltd III has successfully been marketed internationally since June 1997. When applied topically, Acne-Ltd III improves the appearance of acne prone skin. Acne-Ltd III can be used on skin which has been inflamed by acne pimples, acne cysts, blackheads, whiteheads, rosacea and hormone- related acne such as teenage acne, pregnancy acne or peri-menopausal acne.

Advantages of Acne-Ltd III

Using Acne-Ltd III

The best time to apply Acne-Ltd III is after washing your face well. For men, right after shaving is ideal, since the razor has probably opened up hundreds of nicks through which bacteria can enter the skin. For women, morning is the best time to treat your face, after thoroughly washing it to get rid of dirt and oil. You can tell by feeling your skin that the oil has been washed off.

After washing the face with the Cetaphil "moisturizing gentle cleansing bar for dry sensitive skin", leave your face 100% wet and gently glide Acne-Ltd III over the acne areas. Then, towel dry the Acne-Ltd III before storing it in a dry place. Apply Acne-Ltd III at least three times per day, or as time allows, and especially at bedtime. Ladies, please be sure to use a water-based make-up, since oil-based make-up can clog pores easily. Acne-Ltd III is, in fact, a very good invisible make-up base. Simply use the skin toned Acne-Ltd III at work or when you're going out as it's totally unnoticeable on any skin color. In the evening or after work (and especially at bedtime), use the yellow/white sulfurized Acne-Ltd III. Some very light skinned people may also enjoy using the yellow/white Acne-Ltd III during the daytime.

The best way to use Acne-Ltd III, especially when you're just starting the applications, is to apply it three times per day at first. After that, you can gradually taper it down to once per day. It is still good to wash the skin three times daily.

Goals of Acne-Ltd III

Acne-Ltd III is formulated so that it will not cause blackheads (non-comedogenic). Acne-Ltd III improves the skin tone leaving your skin smoother and healthy-looking. Many acne medications leave the skin dry and irritated, because they cause the surface skin cells to flake or peel off (exfoliate). Acne-Ltd III contains an agent that moisturizes the skin to maintain a proper level of vital water content and the proper pH (acid-alkali balance) for the skin.

The goals of Acne-Ltd III:

  1. Create optimum skin tone and texture
  2. Soothe irritated dry skin
  3. Condition skin to improve the appearance of redness
  4. Reduce the appearance of blemishes and blackheads

Acne-Ltd III is sold and mailed to any country of the world.

Ingredients of Acne-Ltd III

The ingredients of Acne-Ltd III are: zinc oxide, magnesium stearate, sodium chloride, iron oxide, copper oxide, polyethylene glycol, and sulfur (sulfur is used externally only and not to be confused with sulfa which is taken internally only). These ingredients are compressed under 22,000 pounds of pressure per square inch into a very concentrated 'smooth solid form' for easy application to the facial skin areas. As Acne-Ltd III is highly concentrated, it will normally last 9 to 12 months. Leave the face wet after washing and apply Acne-Ltd III by simply gliding the Acne-Ltd III over the affected areas. The ingredients are dissolved onto the affected areas leaving an invisible application that continues to improve the skin condition while not being visible on the skin. Acne-Ltd III is not a 'cover up cosmetic' as it is invisible on the skin. Acne-Ltd III has more than 99% undiluted conditioning ingredients with a pH of 7.0 (the pH balance of normal skin). Furthermore, Acne-Ltd III is free of any potentially irritating preservatives, such as methylparaben, propylparaben, and Quaternium-15, and contains no irritating fragrances.

Rosacea-Ltd III contains the same ingredients as Acne-Ltd III, as we have found this product to improve the appearance of several similar skin disorders. It is sold under different names to help us provide the best instructions for its use based on each customer's unique skin condition.

ACNE STATISTICS

Based on extensive research conducted by Bass & Boney, it has been found that acne commonly occurs in combination with other skin conditions. The complex interaction of multiple conditions can make acne even more difficult to treat and control.

Many skin care products when applied to the skin alter the natural pH balance of the skin making it susceptible to bacterial growth and infection. Upsetting the skin's natural balance can lead to yeast infections, perioral dermatitis, over production of sebaceous oils, and possibly worsening of a skin condition. Acne has been found to be a component in the complex interaction of symptoms occurring with rosacea. 65% of rosacea sufferers have reported a correlation between the onset of rosacea resulting from an acne occurrence. This may be the result of acne treatments that were too harsh and caused further damage to already sensitive skin leading to an exacerbation of rosacea in people who may have been pre-disposed to rosacea, or the acne treatment may have actually caused the rosacea. Many of the more commonly accepted products used to treat acne can actually cause further damage to the skin resulting in other skin conditions such as rosacea. Acne treatments are frequently used to open the pores (exfolients, various acid-based products, and retinoids) but can be very drying and irritating to the skin.

Over 70% of acne sufferers report having combination skin. The most frequent combination is skin that is oily in the T-zone of the face while the surrounding skin is either normal or dry. This combination skin is usually the result of over use of an acne treatment. When you dry the skin out too much with the use of acne drying agents, the skin goes into survival mode and produces more oil to protect the skin and body by forming a protective barrier between airborne bacteria and the body’s internal organs.

Controlling these conditions and the factors that cause and further irritate the skin is important in the management of acne. Factors which can play a role in this include but are not limited to: glycolic-based ingredients frequently found in foundation, anti-wrinkle creams and moisturizers, cleansers containing salicylic acid, alcohol, or benzyol peroxide. If it has the ability to dry or exfoliate, it can alter the natural balance of the skin. Once this balance is disturbed; the skin reacts with pimples, papules, and redness, itching, flaking and/or increased sensitivity.

The skin is the body’s largest organ and as such the first to show damage resulting from dehydration. Since body heat relates to vascular dilation (also referred to as flushing) in most people, the acne sufferer needs even more water than the average person. The body and skin dilates when it is acidic from 'acidic foods, drinks, and exercise (lactic acid). Those with undesirable skin conditions should consume between 10 and 16 glasses (4 liters) of cold water per day to cool the face and body and to assist the body in proper excretion of oil, "acidic" waste, (toxins). The hypothalamus is the body's thermostat, which regulates temperature, but it cannot achieve this objective without adequate water. The body is approximately 70% water while the eye is approximately 96% water. Water is needed for skin cell regeneration and skin tissue repair, efficient digestion, absorption, circulation and secretion. Water carries nutrients to the skin and body cells and removes waste from the cell and neutralizes or buffers the acids from exercise, stress, foods and drinks.

Seborrhea dermatitis occurs in approximately 35% of acne sufferers. While acne and seborrheic dermatitis are different skin disorders, sometimes they can coexist at the same time. Seborrheic dermatitis involves overactive sebaceous glands, which cause inflammation, flaking and a red rash in the central portion of the face. If one looks closely, the flakes usually have a greasy look, smell and feel. The dryness of seborrheic dermatitis is perceived because of the flaking, which consists of dried layers of accumulated oil. Seborrheic dermatitis may also result in yellowish scales, which develop on the scalp, the hairline and the eyebrows. This is often confused with the crusting and scaling on the eyelids that occur with ocular rosacea.

When treating acne, one sometimes sees an acne-like eruption around the mouth area. Known as peri-oral dermatitis, peri-oral refers to the facial area around the mouth while dermatitis pertains to inflammation, redness or irritation of the skin. In addition, there are usually small red bumps or even pus bumps and mild peeling as the skin is extremely aggravated. Peri-oral dermatitis symptoms characteristically involve the mouth area, but generally do not affect the lips themselves. You may also notice flaking of the skin at the site of occurrence. Many times if the flaking is isolated to the lip area it may be mistaken for chapped lips. Often the skin around the nose is affected too, and sometimes it can affect the area under and around the eyes. This condition may be wrongfully thought of as acne while others believe it to be a manifestation of rosacea. Peri-oral dermatitis is often aggravated by fluoridated or tartar-control toothpaste, chapstick, the ingredients in lipstick, and mouthwash. Discontinuing the use of fluoridated or tartar control toothpaste for six months may help reduce the symptoms of peri-oral dermatitis.

Regardless of your individual skin condition or combination of skin conditions, Acne-Ltd can be tailored to meet the special needs of your skin. We understand the complexities of combination skin conditions and are able to assist you in the treatment and control of your skin problems.
